Meet a man who tied a knot with a wooden beauty in Colombia on Sunday. Peruvian actor and activist Richard Torres has married a tree for the second time in his life. The ceremony took place in Bogota national park and included the placing of fruit and vegetable by young girls at the base of the tree.
The bride who looked rather apathetic and wooden was wearing a white veil. It should be noted that even a kissing part of the ceremony was performed. It is the second time Torres marries a plant in an attempt to raise awareness of environmental issues.
A year agon he married a tree in Buenos Aires. By his actions he struggles to pay more attention to the man-made environmental problems around the world, including climate change.
