In the latest FIFA world ranking
released on Thursday, Nigeria’s Super Eagles remain 42nd on the list –
the same ranking they had in the October list.
However, the team is now ranked 9th in Africa despite failing to qualify for the 2015 African Cup of Nations (AFCON), Goal reports.

Germany, Argentina and Colombia hold the first, second, and third spots in the world respectively. Brazil remains number 6.
